It is our goal to deliver the highest quality inspection services for both residential and commercial customers.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
This type of inspection is usually initiated by the buyer before going to closing for a property. As a buyer, you want to make sure that you are receiving an unbiased assessment of the property you are looking to acquire. In many instances, a pre-purchase inspection will help both the buyer and seller identify any existing damage or problems with the property so the necessary steps can be taken before final sale.
Pre-Listing Inspection
A pre-listing inspection is initiated by the seller before a property is put on the market for sale. This kind of inspection provides an opportunity for the seller to uncover any existing major problems, symptoms of major problems or safety hazards. Identifying these issues allows the seller to become aware of the condition of their property in order to determine fair market value and to identify any improvements that could increase the value and desirability of the property. The specific areas that will be covered during your inspection include: The structure and foundation, basement/crawlspace, roof and attic, exterior of property, grounds, heating and cooling systems, plumbing system, electrical system, kitchen and appliances, fireplaces and chimneys, doors and windows. Once the inspection is complete, the homeowner will receive a detailed inspection report outlining all of the findings.
New Construction Inspection
This type of inspection is performed during and/or immediately after your new home has been built and is considered "ready" for occupancy by the builder and appropriate legal authorities (such as a zoning or code inspector). Our expert team is also available to inspect your property during the "pre-drywall" phase of building to ensure the highest level of quality for your new property.
This kind of inspection is a visual evaluation of the areas of a home for evidence of the wood-destroying insects known as termites. The inspector will search the entire home including any sub-space, basement or crawlspace and the exterior of the home looking for indications of termite related damage. Following the inspection a detailed report will be provided and recommendations made for a treatment plan if necessary.
A mold inspection can be ordered as a preventative measure or as a necessary step due to an issue related to a water leak, visual mold findings or health concerns. A comprehensive investigation includes a complete visual analysis of the premises, moisture testing and leak detection. Left untreated, mold can damage your home and seriously affect the health of your family. Complete Building Inspections can locate the source of the water intrusion and identify the areas of mold that have grown as a result.
Radon is a naturally occurring, cancer-causing gas that can enter a property through cracks, doorways and other openings. The particles from this gas cannot be seen or smelled but have the ability to become trapped in your lungs and cause sometimes fatal damage to your tissue. Fortunately there is a solution! Once radon has been detected in your home or property, the issue can usually be fixed by doing some combination of the following: sealing cracks in the floors and walls, improving the ventilation within the property or increasing the under-floor ventilation. Take the first step; Have your home or property inspected.
This form of inspection checks the water quality by analyzing physical, chemical and biological characteristics of the water in your property. Avoid unnecessary expenses or health related complications that could arise from untreated water contamination by getting a preventative water assessment.
Your home and your family are susceptible to damage from microscopic or unseen particles that can enter your body and cause permanently detrimental effects to your internal organs. Those particles can stem from environmental threats such as:
•
Mold
•
Radon
•
Minerals in water and/or bacteria
Our goal is to protect you, your home and your family from any hazard currently existing in your property.
